If you have band erosion, you have to get rid of it and, if you intend to revise, find a new surgeon if your current surgeon does bands only.
I recommend you have the band removed and revised in a single surgery, if possible. It may or may not be, depending upon the degree of erosion.

My surgeon called me first thing this morning. He already had a plan in place so that was good. Surgery for removal will be Tuesday. I have to stay in the hospital until Friday, which I was not at all prepared to hear. I really thought it would just be overnight like the original surgery. Im praying they let me out early. i don't rest at all in a hospital, and its my babies first week of kindergarten!!

Suddenly "least invasive" doesn't sound appropriate, does it?! :-(
