Lapband didn't work for me

Same issues here.  Took 18 months to get the removal OK'd as I wanted to try everthing first.  But, now the insurance changed to a once in a lifetime while I was trying for a revision so may be left with nothing.

 Sorry that you are having issues!  I was having problems with my band tightening up for no reason.  My surgeon put in for a revision in early March and I was approved and had surgery April 3rd!  I got the sleeve, and love having constant restriction, without ever sliming or PBing.  Your doc is correct, the sleeve comes with reflux, but Prilosec handles it well. Hugs. It doesn't seem to work for most long term. That "lifetime" product that we were given seems to just last a few years on average. :-(
