I'm exercising, watching what I eat and I have had two adjustments.  I just don't see the weight coming off.  I was 244 pounds and I down to 228.  Is this normal?  Someone please help!!! What can I do to help me???

No. Actually you're losing weight very well for a bandster. Bandsters average 1-2 pounds/wk. You're above the high end of that. Just how much did you think you were going to lose in 7 weeks???

Traditional loss with band is 1-2 lbs per week. You are 7 weeks out and down 16 lbs, so you are above the average. It isn't a race. If you wanted faster weight loss should have had a different surgery.

You are doing great misslawson, dont rush yourself.  Be patient and compliant.  Your weight will come off it will stall and refuse to come off and then start again.  Hang in there you are just begining this journey.  Enjoy the ride.

Thank you for ur comments Theresa.  I think I'm just becoming impatient, one of my best traits.

Congrats on what you have lost! Be patient, it works. Some weeks better than others and a couple weeks of a gain, but all-in-all steady coward move! Keep doing what you are doing!

WOW!!! You are doing great. Don't forget your body is still recovering from surgery. Weight loss and keeping it off is a life long learning experience-no matter what procedure you have.

Great Job!!! K
