Here goes everything. 5 years out.
I am in a similar situation, five years out, regaining and trying to get to a fine line between too tight and no restriction. I cannot revise unless I self pay, so I am trying to make this thing work. If I had a supportive physician and insurance coverage, I would revise in a heartbeat. Having been nearly normal and watching my weight and clothing size go up and up is almost worse than never having been smaller at all.
If your surgeon says "do it" then, do it.

Judy,
I was never nearly normal, as you say, but that 60 lb weight loss felt like sweet success to me. I couldn't agree more....Losing it and regaining is worse than never having lost a pound.
I'm just getting up the courage, I guess, to make my next move. Like so many of you have said, it just seems like the "thing to do" at this point.
I got my fill today and told my surgeon that if I didn't have any sucess with this one that it would be my last one and time to "move on". He nodded and smiled and said, ""you're not alone".
I'm so thankful for Dr. S..
Anyway, thanks for responding and sharing with me.
