Click protien drink
I just want to thank everyone *****commended the Click protein drink for my Frappe addiction. I got it the other day and tried it this morning. It tastes great and I really think this will do it for me.
Just in time because I get my band out on Tuesday and hopefully he can revise me to a sleeve. I'm very exited and nervous. I really want to be back on the lossers bench.

Honestly, Click has a ton of carbs and cals for very little protein, if you are going to be newly post-op I would suggest you try the Syntrax Nectar Cappuccino flavor, only 100 cals, no carbs and 20 grams of protein in one scoop. I have only considered Click now that I am in maintenance and usually only on days that I plan a super hard workout or a long run.
Good luck with getting your band out on Tuesday! Hope all goes well and you have a safe
and speedy recovery. Are they going to try doing the sleeve at the same time? Or do you have
to wait?
Glad you have a protein drink you like. I'm not sure what all you have tried? Every one say the Nectar is the best and I will be getting some to try. I got the BariWise and liked them OK.

They are doing a scope on Tuesday (Aug 7) to see how it looks and then removal on Wednesday. If he can, I would like him to do the sleeve right away. I guess that s how they do it here.
I have some of the Nectar samples that I got. They were all fruity flavors though. I will have to try their cappuccino one too. I didn't want to get a bunch until I know if I get get the sleeve now or if I have to wait a while. I haven't heard of the bariwise. Where do you get yours?

I did go ahead with the removal of the band. I had a hernia around the port I guess. (I didn't get to talk to the surgeon because I was to out of it) He spoke with my husband.
I didn't have any erosion but the band had slipped.
The surgeon didn't do the revision and I don't know how long I will have to wait. I think he told me 3 months before when I talked with him.
I have alot of pain around the port area and with having had my foot surgery, I am really run down. At this time I dint feel like I have it in me to go through another surgery. I will have to wait and see if that changes.

Thanks for the replies.
I am kinda scared because I had foot surgery 3 weeks ago and it's been pretty painful. I asked both doctors ( the Foot Surgeon and the WLS Surgeon) if I should do them so close and they both said it would be fine.
I am in a boot and I should be able to walk on the foot by Tuesday.
To those who have had their band removed:
Do you guys think I'm nuts to do them so close or do you think it should be fine?
I suppose I should just trust my surgeon.
