Acid Reflux?

I'm not really sure what's going on.  I'm ten days out from my last fill.  Everything was fine last week.  All of a sudden this week, when I lay down I start burping and get this awful tasting stuff in my mouth.  I think this acid reflux, but since I've never had it before I don't know.  I just know that it's really gross and now my throat is really sore.

Could I be too tight?  Things were good for the first week but in the last few days it's awful.  I can drink with no problem, but food feels like it's just sitting there.  The only thing I can think of is that I got stung by a bee this week.  I had a bad reaction to the bee sting and it triggered inflammation all over my body.  Maybe this inflammation is causing the tightness?

Has anyone ever had this happen?  I was once really tight after a fill, but it happened the same day.  I'll call my doctor on Monday, but I was just curious.

I think you have it right on either the bee sting or the fill has caused tightening. I'd suggest you stick to liquids or mushies till you see your doc. If it is the bee it hould go away soon, if it's the fill you may need a tiny unfill. Sometimes it takes a few days for a fill to "kick in",so it could be either on. Just take it easy till you can verify with the doc.

It does sound like you are a bit too tight.  You may be just one the edge -
Also, any type of Acid Reflux can cause inflammation - thus causing the band to be even tighter - causing more acid reflux.  I suggest having a teeny bit removed.

I have had fills that haven't kicked in for a week and even two weeks.  IT happens that way occasionally.  Also, if you're on your period - you will be a little more snug.

In the meantime, don't drink or eat anything for 4 hours prior to laying down.  I know that sounds drastic, but that is the advise we give our Reflux patients.  Even water can cause the acid reflux, so nothing by mouth for at least 4 hours.

Have you done Benadryl for the bee sting?  Other than that, I does sound like when I'm to tight.  It would tighten off and on.

Benadryl comes in the generic form and usually is a tiny pillor capsule.  It will make you sleepy, so no driving, operating dangerous machinery!  Take one or two before bed and your reaction to the bee sting should subside and you'll sleep like a baby.

Yeah having heartburn can be pretty horrible, especially when it keeps you from sleeping! If you have a strong stomache, you can try to drink a small amount of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water. It tastes pretty disgusting but it actually works quite fast, the only downside is the fact that it is more of a mask and wont solve the problem permanently. Permanent cures do exist though, and if I remember correctly, you can check out http://www.onlinereviewguru.com/cure-heartburn to see reviews of some good cures that may be suitable for you. I am living heartburn free since taking a look at OnlineReviewGuru. I'd be interested to hear how you go with this so post back in a few days and let us know how you are going!
