Just wondering if I'm "normal"...whenever I do a lot of crunches or drink a lot of water (keep my band on the lose side) I get a lot of pain in my port area.  If I lay flat it really hurts.  If I curl up on my side (port side) I don't feel much pain.

anyone ever get this?

Ummm don't do that?  Doesn't happen to me but my port is down way low so it's never bothered me. I can see crunches doing it because the port is stitched to a muscle but ya got me with the water! Hope somebosy else can help ya.

There are a bunch of different positions that pull/ tug on my port. Crunches in particular are hell on my port. Yoga was a nightmare lol! It was not the relaxing workout I was hoping for. I felt sore and bruised for days.

thanks for the info, Tiff.  I wasn't sure if it was just me.  I do crunches on the ball and I can HEAR things clicking inside me and then later my port area hurts.  I won't be doing those anymore.  It's not worth messing something up.  I'll stick to planks...I think that will help my stomach muscles.  Oh, and yoga????  To me, it's like why would I torture myself moving in ways my body says is not correct?? LOL  I am too impatient of a person to hold those poses, too.
