Esophogram tomorrow
Yes, good news...she said I should be fine as long as my symptoms are continuing to diminish. She also recommended that I switch allergy meds from Allegra to Zyrtec, since the Zyrtec pills are smaller. I started cutting the Allegra pills into 1/4s cause they get stuck. She said the sharp edges tend to scratch the stomach lining and they've seen patients with ulcers as a result. Tomorrow I'm going to find me some Zyrtec and give it a try.
Ive been taking Allegra for about 10 years since my allergist prescribed it...
Oh yeah, verticle striations...she's not sure, thinks it might be my anatomy or age???

Yes, I have a scrip for it. I take a number of allergy meds depending on the season and my symptoms. The Allegra is taken year around, Flonase during grass season, albuterol for asthma and if things get very bad, an inhaled cortosteroid powder. I've done well with the Allegra, avoided asthma for 8 seasons now. My band doc seems to think the Zyrtec will keep my symptoms under control.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I was on three. I take the Flonase year round with and eye drop (Patanol). I used to have to change up every year because my body got used to them. I found the Zrtec was too drying for me. I am now afraid I would become dehydrated!
I am allergic to dust, mold, feathers and cats. I tried a million things for years. Hopefully what I am doing now will work for a while.
Good luck to you.
