..... Sorry, have I offended her? I read a thread with gaps and realised from someone's reply that the gaps were Nic. Didn't realise I had upset her! Probably just she is fed up with me being positive about the band!

As she has aparently blocked me, I can't ask her myself. Kate

Highest ever 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too low - deliberately regained 5lbs).
Maintained under 148 from Sept 2007.
Blip (regain of 27lbs) during 2010. Dealt with (after leak repair).
Nov. 2010 set new (more realistic!) comfort zone of 150-155
Dress US size 26 to 8/10 (5ft 4ins tall) 2.8cc in 4cc band.

Hi Steph,

No one's offended me!

I just don't want my posts to upset the people *****ally are genuinely happy with their bands. I blocked several people because I was afraid that my posting might make them feel bad or worried... and I didn't want to do that. People like Steelerfan, Kate, C_cubed... they're genuinely happy with their bands and I just don't want to be a broken record and make them feel nervous.

PS. Maybe this wasn't the right thing to do...I don't know. I was kinda thinking that maybe they wouldn't notice... but I do talk a lot, so I suppose that was silly of me to think that.

However, I have been witnessing SO many people having problems from banding lately. It's really amping up at an alarming degree... so I feel compelled to talk even more. And with all the drama here lately, I just thought my blocking a few people who were saying that they were tired of hearing about band problems might be the kinder thing to do. But I should have known that it would imply that I was angry or upset with them. If I started a thread declaring my intentions, I'd seem like a total drama queen

... so I tried to insert it into the midst of another thread.

I know you're being considerate, but I don't think Kate is adverse to hearing what's going on with you, in fact I think she's very sympathetic to the problems your band caused you.

I might add that Steelerfan was wondering why she was suddenly blocked she's had no interaction with you. Being blocked makes it reall hard to follow some threads. I know you meant well Nic...and for the record, I have no beef with you. You have always been rrespectful and I really hate what that surgeon did to you as you had problems from day 1 with the band. Kate has always spoken highly of you in other threads...(even Bette). I always read your threads too because no matter what happens, you have a optimistic way of seeing the world.

5.0 cc in a 10cc lapband (four fills) 1 unfill of .5cc on 5/24/2011.
.5 fill March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012. Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

HW: 267lbs- size 22-24 LW:194lbs CW:198lbs Size 14-16

I didn't want to be part of the reason she (steelerfan) no longer posted here. She posted the other day that the reason she hardly comes here anymore is because of the negative posts about the band (to paraphrase.) I was trying to make things easier for her.

I DO know that being blocked makes it hard to follow some threads, believe me!

I'm blocked by a number of people here...bette included. I figure they have their reasons. The only time it really bugged me was a couple of years ago when someone had me blocked for so long that I forgot they existed... and then they started having band complications and sent me a PM as if we were best of friends all along. That takes quite a bit of gall.

I'm glad you unblocked me :o) I never had a ounce of problem with you and you sharing your band problems. You tell it a nice way , dont cut people down , and dont do the trash talking behind it or make snide little comments that is what I was talking about . I should have made myself clearer :o) The snide comments and the hurtful ones is a a good part of the reason why I dont post .

I have always read your posts because it could happen to me and if I get into band problems you would be the first one I would turn to , to ask them questions or tell you about my situation .
