I livein a state where your DL is issued for 25 years -- yep, can you believe it -- 25 years.
When I got mine (13 years ago), I lied about my weight and only put down 250 -- when it was more like 260.
After being told by 3 different TSA agents that it is 'time for a new picture, ma'am", I went in this morning and listed my REAL weight, got a new photo and I actually LOOK LIKE my DL picture now!!!
How fun to actually be proud enough of my weight to list the real number -- and then have a smile on my face when they snapped the picture!!!

Omg! I never heard of a state that renews every 25 years? How much is the license there?
I know the excitement of weighing less than the DL! I did a post about it last Feb. on my blog:
I Weigh Less Than My Drivers License!
Yes! I now weight less than my drivers license says!
For years my drivers license has been “slightly inaccurate". My drivers license has ALWAYS been in Onederland, lol. So even when I was 258 or 268…………my license said “195″.
Then last year a week before Christmas my car was broken into and my wallet was stolen (along with a lot of other things!). Merry Christmas to me!
So I had to have the license reissued. Now at this point I was starting to lose so I knew that I would be 195 soon………….so I changed the weight to 175.
Well I realized today that I am about 20 pounds BELOW my drivers license weight! How cool is that?! So when I go in a few months to have it renewed…………..I MIGHT ACTUALLY PUT MY REAL WEIGHT ON IT!
What about you all? Was your weight accurate? If not how far off was it? Did you renew before you had to just to change your weight on it?
Now to update you on this.....when I went to renew my license..........I thought I could realistically get down to 125 so that is the weight I put down. Well I never got down to that weight. Right now 137. It has fluctuated between that and 142 for over a yr. now, although I have seen it as low as 133 on a few occasion. So.................2 1/2 years out and now my DL weight is still inaccurate, lol.

It costs 12.00 for a new license.
It is crazy.. I think the state could generate some revenue if they required new licenses, even renewable by Internet, say every 5 years.
Evidently, at the 1( year mark, they ask you to go and have a new photo taken.
But, consider the number of senior citizens we have (this is AZ for goodness sakes).
My new license is now good until I am 79 years old!!

I recently got a new military ID. My husband is active duty, not me (obviously!) and as my "sponsor" he has to fill out a form and be present when I get the ID. My husband has no idea how much I weigh....NO IDEA...and he probably never will. He was filling out the form and asked me "weight?" I laughed, he laughed...I said "I lied on the old one, so I'm going to lie again..." I told him to put down 150. HA! Now he knows I definitely weigh more than 150! LOL
I hope I can tell the truth one day!
