Just my own personal opinion on this topic...I think we need to save the head in the sand photos and recommendations to revise (as the first option) for those who have demonstrated they are having long term issues and have sought medical attention for them without any success...I think that would go a long way towards keeping people paying attention if we want to help them rather than scaring them away.  If they leave or we block them, then the message goes unheard.

I get what you're saying, but let's be honest.........what I have posted in public is a LOT less offensive than some pics that some bandsters have posted on private forums! Capiche?

And as far as blocking, I have not one single person blocked on OH.

I have a lot blocked as of today. I want to be able to be myself without worrying about who's gonna get undie bundled over it. So, in spite of the fact that I don't normally block because nobody bugs me enough to just make them "disappear" and I think it's stupid, anyway...  whenever someone blocks me, I just read it, anyway.

BUT,I've blocked people to protect their feelings... for lack of a better way to say it. If they can't see me, they'll have nothing to complain about. If they complain in spite of it, I'll unblock and then REALLY be myself!

I have never blocked in my life... but I just went through a blocked a bunch of people who have demonstrated that their feelings get hurt by my posts.  This way, they can post to their heart's content and not have to worry about my raining on their parade.
