Lisa, I know nothing about BOB. All I know is from fhe small number of BOB people who post on here. Some find it fantastic, others have less success.

Highest 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,

Lisa, I've had the BOB and all the "friends" on my friends list have had it too. 1 year post op from the BOB, 10yrs out from the RNY. Please read my profile and the others on my friends list who've also had the BOB. Email me with questions.

Well, lets put it this way, they told me they had the bob or were scheduled to have the Bob except 1 or 2 who had DS.

I know about 20-30 people on here who've had it.
