need new doctor
HELP! I had my surgery done in Springfield MA almost 3 years ago, and have since moved to Winter Haven FL. All of the bariatic surgeons I have called will not give me a much needed fill because they did not do the sugery. I can not afford to go back to MA just to have a fill, can anyone help me.

Huh, usually if the reason you are seeking a new doctor is because you moved, especially to a different state, doctors are actually more likely to accept you as a patient. When you call, do you ask about transferring your care to them entirely, or just ask about getting a fill?

Hi, you can go to lapband.com. Click the icon to find a surgeon. Type in the zip code and they can list doctors in your area. Make sure you have a copy of your operation report as well as your last 2 fills. It will make life easier knowing what you have in your band. Hope this helps. Mona

Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!
Viera Health First Hospital in Brevard (Office is just off 95 by Walmart) has two excellant bariatic surgeons--Dr. Addington and Dr. Varlardi (not sure of the correct spelling). I DO NOT recommend Dr. Fusco-he did my surgery but I now see one of the Viera Health First doctors. While seeing Dr. Fusco I was having several bouts of lung infections due to the GERD/band too tight and wasn't losing wieght.
