No Lap Band Refund Needed for me - pics of my long 7 year band journey!
I am very happy , so far , with the bypass , my BMI was 37 at surgery and I am loosing slowly , and can barely tell I even had surgery, I am back to feeling normal when I eat, except I can't eat much....like I said , so far so good , the vitamins are a challenge
We all want the same thing, to be happy and live in a lower weight body and be healthy.
When I think of all the money and EMOTIONAL energy I have spent over the last 40 years to loose weight ,tens of thousands of dollars , I wish I had done this in my 30's instead of at almost 60 !!!! head slap :(
P.S....did you meet your hubby online???? just had to ask

I am so happy to hear that you are doing well! You are a very sweet person and I am sure you will be blessed with much success. I remember you well now, yep we've all had "issues" with this lap band, even myself, but that's the nature of the beast sort of speak. When I was having fill issues about 3 years ago, I was honestly thinking about a revision to "something" that was how fed up I was, but turns out it was not my band, it was my previous surgeons office not filling me properly, I was either too tight or too loose.
Now I am pretty happy with my band and new surgeons practice, when I get a fill it's not too tight, they usually hit the spot. But last year I was complacent and started eating too much "I blame my hubby" he loves to eat...lol...and I got irritated and started having some reflux and frequent night coughing and I new those were not good signs, I went in to see my surgeon and he removed most of my saline, and I did not go back and boy have I paid for it, I gained back over 40 pounds "yikes"....but I am not mad about, the most important thing was keeping my band in good health where I can move forward with future fills and weight loss.
Now getting to the good stuff....yep I met my hubby on match.com...remember my "dating adventures"...that was fun, I dated a lot of fun guys and I really enjoyed my freedom after my divorce and subsequent weight loss, I had many dinner dates...but it was hard trying to find that perfect match where we had every thing in common...he was a nerdy guy who used to play in a band and software engineer and we both are techies so we hit it off immediately...he travels a lot and he used to take me with him so I really enjoyed that. We dated for about 18 months before we got married...I call him my teddy bear....he is so sweet and has the sweetest mother who treats me as her daughter, I call mom...and he deals with all my mood swings........I love him for that alone. He is the love of my life my "teddy bear"
