I won't be able to (enjoy) this holiday as I am still on mushies/real soft foods.

But there maybe other banders on here who would like to read some band friendly ideas.

Thank you if you respond.

Refried beans and non fat or low fat cheese is good.
Anything you can smash with a fork!

Deviled eggs may work. Trader Joe's has a sugar free rice pudding in the dairy case. Laughing Cow Cheeses are very soft and they have some great low fat flavors.  Refried beans with a fresh salsa. Cottage cheese w/ bacon salt (no bacon in the salt but it taste like bacon). Watermelon - or blend for watermelon juice.

Watermelon gives me issues if I am having a rough time with my band at all.  Might be okay for you though not sure.  I tend to stick to things like refried beans, avacados, and shredded chicken, and soft cheese things when giving me any issues.
I am a work in progress...perhaps never completed or perfected; but forever working to change for the better...

Anything you like you can put in a blender or chop up. I made lot of homemade chicken and ham salad. Like tomato soup too. I heard others blend up split pea or navy bean soup toss that it wasn't chunky! I bet you could even mash up a turkey hot dog cooked on the grill!

Enjoy the day!

Well, if you are going to a BBQ, you could bring some marinated tilapia or other whitefish and then eat that.

I was allowed to have fish during my soft food stage.
You can also eat a little mased up potato salad, or some baked beans (mush them with a fork).

Honestly, the best thing is to begin to celebrate with less focus on food and drink and more on people and fun.

when i go to parties during any phase after i eat and wait my time, i carry a water bottle always. We can't eat and drink. So if we are drinking we can't snack.
