Who's got Band questions? Anyone?

I believe so. And then she got worried she (hurt herself). My friend told me her friend who was banded in March, I think, 1 week after, went to sonic and got a cheeseburger and ate it in in 5 hours.

What in the world? You have surgery that is major. You shouldn't risk things.

I do hope they are well.

Lap Band on 12/02/03

The thinking is that having liquids in there with the solid food you eat will cause the liquids to ash the solids out of your stomach. Does it work? Who knows.

When there are solids at the bottom of my sink and I pour water on top, the sink backs up; it doesn't empty out quicker.

So, do you drink while you eat? Did you do that at the beginning?
I sometimes wants to take a sip or two during my eating, but afraid too in case it caused (me to become stuck or whatever). I havent had any (bad) episodes yet. But am taking very little bites and chewing alot and going slow.

THANKS FOR POSTING!! Glad to see someone who has had the band for close to 10 years, and remains successful!! It means the world to many of us!!

I am 4+ years successful. It's a constant battle everyday, and I am always waiting for the "other shoe to drop". Knowing there is someone like you out there, gives my the hope and desire to celebrate my 10, 15, 20 years of "success"!!!!
