Surgery tomorrow

 I am having lap band surgery tomorrow after such a long time of trying to get the surgery. I have been homeless, hungry, without work, without support and now I am here at this point. I have been blessed with a wonderful girlfriend, a new roof over my head, and many job offers. I cannot ask for anything more. Since August of last year, I have dropped 19 lbs. I have no clue how but I am proud of myself. I am still in school and I only have 5 classes left to graduate and take my RN exam. Life is only looking up from here. Thanks to everyone who supported me on this website. I wanted VSG but the lap band is better for me at this time in my life. Wish me luck everyone. This time tomorrow, I will be banded. Thank you all. It went great. I have a bit of pain but I am good. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I already lost a pound in a day. I can't wait til the pain is fully gone.
