I taught my son, its someone's loss if they don't like you. Though why was I banned for trying to join is still confusing.

I was banned because I respectfully disagreed and actually copiied and pasted a statement by the unnamed bandmaster to prove she contradicted herself....

Well, being baby brand new here, I choose to respect any and all opinions and have an open mind.

Like with all things, there are good and bad and sometimes things just (happen). I have found it is how we react to them is what matters.

Respect all and hopefully you will get that respect back. Is how I was raised.

Just from browsing, most people's hearts seem to be in the right place.

Being a new OH member, I attempted to join the group but was (banned) from Happy Bandsters.

I would like to know why?

I find that very surprising as I am trying to find support and friendship. I received notification that I was (banned). WTH is that about??

I have no idea who anyone is on this site and basically am stunned. It is no wonder (snark) and other problems exist because of middle school behavior such as this. It is a shame because new bandies like myself come to places like this seeking support/friendship/understanndingding.
Totally their loss as I am a wonderful and nice person and would help/support anyone. REGARDLESS if the band worked for them or not. Talk about closed minds. Shame Shame.

Read what I already wrote you. Honestly? You'll get better, better INFORMED, more rational and more balanced advice HERE. Plus, there are more GENUINE, LONG-TERM successes HERE. AND, more people who have friggin' senses of humor.

If you want to be told that EVERY and ANY band problem that arises is YOUR fault - completely and totally, no discussion and no exception - by all means, join that group.
