Adventures at the pool

I went to the gym to work as I try to do most days (working on getting it back to EVERY DAY)...anyhow I'm in the pool working and this guy that sorta scares me because he is always staring at several of us women anyhow.. ....chose today to speak to me.... great... (oh note, at the gym I am NOT a girl, I do not want to be flirted with or called "hot" or anything, I'm there for me. Sorry if that sounds rude)   So he greets me and comments that he sees me here often.

Yes have lost alot of weight.
Really? Just for bouncing and jumping around like a jackrabbit? (Grinning)

My workout took a short break to allow my eyes the time they needed to mentally inform him how displeased I was with his comment.

My husband will be along shortly he is in the gym getting ready for his tournament, maybe you should ask him...

Enters John....  John is a bodybuilder....very HOT, very bound, and very sweet to Swoosh.....(not my guy he is married to a friend of mine and I see him at the gym sometimes).

I wave to John who walks toward me....I pull up out of the water to speak to him...what I said to him was "Do you think the water looks a little murky over where I workout?"  (This caused John to focus on that part of the pool where the gentleman was watching me.) 

The gentleman left me alone after that.....I probably should mention to John that I sorta used him.... LOL maybe I will just tell his wife will be a good coffee chat :)


Here's hoping its a long term fix! :)

My thought is always, they would not have gave me the time of day prior to WLS so why now.

Way to go Swoosh! You never know what kind of nut jobs are lurking out there! I'm sure John would be glad to be your protecter.

It's great to have friends! Good on you.

LOL so I told my friend about what happened at the pool right and left it at that...yesterday John walks up to me and puts his arm loosely around me and says, "so I understand we are an item now....whats for dinner baby?" (grins at me).   So I snuggled up to him a little and said, "whatever Becky is cooking for us I guess."  Felt a little odd that Becky had told him but just well she did. :) We both had a good laugh.  Friends like that are AWESOME :)

....hmmm doubt that guy bothers me anymore :)  BONUS :)
