Have You Had Any Plastic Surgery?

How many people have had Major Plastic Surgery Body Lift, Everything Lift?  Who was your Doctor?  Would you do it again?  What would you do different?  Did you travel to see the surgeon?  Considering Plastics still a year out want to start research now.

 I have had, Lower Body Lift, Anchor Cut Tummy Tuck, Full Thigh Lift with Lipo, brachioplasty- extended with lipo, neck lift, upper eye lift and butt augmentation (flap from LBL) I went with Dr Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico! I am returning in Jan 2013 for an Upper body lift, breast lift and augmentation.  He also will be doing the 2nd stage of my thigh lift. I love Dr S!

 I had 3 surgeries since 2009. Total price for everything was less than any quote I got in the states for just one procedure. If your cost is over $7k, his service is all inclusive. Airfare, hospital stay, 2 compression garments, visiting RN daily once you go to the Hampton Inn and he sees you each day at the hotel! I consulted with 3 surgeons in the states! The price quoted for arms and tummy was over $18,900. / outpatient! Dr S uses an epidural and since I have Malignant Hyperthermia, an epidural is perfect! He has extensive experience with WLS patients. This was my main reason for choosing him. His prices are listed on his website, but if you combine procedures the price goes down drastically. He is a true artist! 

I had a face lift, tt and boob job. I results were great. However, unfortunately I regained about 40 pounds- wow it hurts even to write that. I only maintained for 3 months before the tt. I am very worried I have compromised the results. Guess I'll know when I loose some weight, which I am trying really hard to do. Still struggling. My advice is to maintain at least a year before you get plastic surgery. Good luck!
Oh, my doctor was Fiala in Orlando.

I had arms and a breast lift at about 17 months post op
At that time I was about 20 pounds above my goal weight.

My surgery went well. I did it locally and as an outpatient. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I got to goal about a month later and maintained there for about 15 months and then had my tummy tuck with the same surgeon at the same surgical center.

3reasons I waited for the tummy tuck are
1. Saving money to pay for it
2. Stable weight for a year before doing my core for best results
3. Trip to hike theGrand Canyon and training for it altered my schedule

I got referrals from my bariatric surgeon and some support group buddies and had 3 consults and chose the doc I liked best.
He has a wonderful follow up and revision policy.

I had brachioplasty.
And then gained weight after having a hysterectomy.
It was NOT money well spent for me. But, I didn't think things through. I wanted it done right then and there.

The pain was nominal, however. It was surprisingly less than I had expected. 

Well as for me, I am planning to get work done to remove what I call my fat suit. After loosing close to 200 lbs there is going to be loose skin and let me tell you its not pretty to say the least.  I told myself that after 5 years Post Surgery, lost the weight  and had my babies I am going in and getting my work done and there is no one in the world that can say anything to me.

I dont know what bothers me worst my excess tummy skin or my arms. I think my arms bother me more because I refuse to wear anything less than 3/4 sleeve in public and it gets really hot where I live and I am miserable.

I would love to see if there are any brave souls that are willing to post their before and after arm surgery pictures.

Thanks, everybody for sharing.  The least we can do for ourselves is to reward our self's for losing all our weight why should we look like a Shar Pei.  Plastics at any age go for it!
