I feel the group name is a misnomer. I have been a happy, and very successful, bandster for over six years. I have given positive support and encouragement. I even started the Pollyanna Club for all happy bandits to post on here regularly.

But I am not allowed to join this group! This does not in fact worry me as my long term, happy, friends are all still with me on the OH Bandgrads board. But it does show that being a happy bandster is not in fact the entry criterion!

 I agree with you. I just joined this site yesterday and tried to join this new happy bandster group as I am newly banded and quite happy but I received notice this a.m. that I was BANNED. I have no idea why.

Do you know why this new (group) would do this to a new member and one who is looking for support and friendship?

 

You're much better off staying on this forum where true successful bandsters can give you good, helpful advice, honestly.

You were probably banned because the "owner" of the group  thinks that you've tried to join solely to "infiltrate." Don't feel bad. The longer you're here, the more you'll realize that you're much better off just interacting here on the lapband forum.

Well, it is their loss as I am a nice/real person who doesnt delve into nonsense. I am an adult who is able to make up her own mind. And if something is said I don't like, I just ignore it. It is pretty simple. This is a free country and with millions of people who have many opinions. Some are right. Some are wrong.
The only one I care about is mine and my surgeons.
