Out of curiousity, WHY did you try to join this group?
Me? I never heard of it before now?
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. - Buddha

No it was my bad, didnt look for a notification, just saw your post under mine right after I posted. Than i got nervous a second that maybe I accidentally clicked and joined something? Had to do some research just to see where subject came from...I should have known. What happens when a Happy bander has a problem? Will they post here under a troll account rather than lose happy bander status?

I'm thinking, when a Happy Bandster is no longer happy, they will voluntarily leave the group and the likelihood is that we will periodically see posts inviting new members.  It will be cyclical.

I'm not entirely unhappy with my band, I'm hoping it will make up with me and make nice from now on.  The other factor is just stupid curiosity! :-/

ANY " HAPPY BANDSTERS " THAT LATER BECOME " UNHAPPY "
Shhhhhhh don't say a word and just quietly linger in the back ground, and don't hit the report button if you see them break the TOS, if you hit that report button it goes straight to the group owner and admins.

DERP Nana ! You kept reporting me and my friends, to me

I have " Happy Bandsters " lurking in my group, but I don't mind, I try really hard to keep the group focused on support, but once in awhile we get off track. That's when I break out the whips and chains until everybody falls back into place.

Hello Happy Bandsters....

I am a newbie...no surgery yet. In fact I was fixated on the sleeve but found out today that insurance doesn't cover sleeve so I am back looking for successful, positive, successful and happy bandsters...

My interpretation of this site would be positive messages. From a newbies viewpoint I didn't see that, too much bickering about this thread.

I would rather read about your diet regimen, exercise and, of course, weight loss...I am aware of the pros and cons and this is what I fear the most-cons....

If this isn't the result, then I may have misuderstood this thread and wouldn't be interested myself....

Just a tiny back history of me. I am female, 69 yo, who had Diabetes with the complication of kidney failure....I was on dialysis for 1.5 yrs before a pancreas/kidney transplant in 4/21/03-9 yrs ago.. I don't want to jeopardise my fantastic organs...doc and kidney doc says Not to Worry!

I do hope the lap band is for me....

OMG, Your doctors are going to end up killing you !

PLEASE reconsider having a LAGB placed. I believe with every fiber of my being that you are making a HUGE mistake by going forward with any type of surgery that has a foreign object component attached to it.,

PLEASE contact Allergan yourself in writing and see what they have to say about your risks if you don't believe me or if you think I'm nuts.
