already banders........need advice/help please

 at work and my stools gotta alittle on the runny side (((sorry i know TMI)))

but i took a very small imodium a.m. and crushed it to pieces (it was dust)

and took it with some water.

 

do you think i hurt myself?

i am now sooooooooo scared. the dr's office told me

not too but i didnt want to mess myself here at work

 

do you think i hurt myself or the band?

I had the same issues first year out. I don't think you did any harm, I wouldn't make a habit of it. Try to figure out what you ate that could have caused it, and avoid it. I know when I do protein shake days, it happens to me for some reason still.

 only 12 days post op and first day back to work and it just scared me.

I wonder why the Dr. told you not to?

I don't see why that would be harmful to you.  You have to do what you got to do!  Did it help?  Do you feel better?

 Imodium shouldn't be a problem...it comes in chewable form too.  I'm allergic to soy, a lot of protein drinks have soy protein.  They can cause digestive upset, if you're sensitive.

thank you guys for responding. i have no idea why the lady at the dr office said not too.........but it kept me out of work last week. i needed to come back today. i have been okay and then after my (still on liquids lunch)....it just kinda (hello there beach bunny) and i smashed one little tablet to powder and took it.....

thank you again. it made me feel better being here.

Didnt you ask this same question, a couple of days ago.  Imodiums are small and powdery they are not going to cause you any problems.  When you are taking in liquids you will put out liquids.
