Allergic to Whey

I am still in the decision making stage - and one of the things that is making me nervous is that I am allergic to whey.  Is anyone else in this situation?  Does anyone have suggestions for protein shakes that are made without whey protein?  I know there are different variations out there (i.e. soy, egg, etc.) but I was looking to see if someone has any "tried and true" products they have tried and/or use - and actually like!

Thanks everyone!

I believe there is soy, and hemp and 1 or 2 others.

There are dairy free options available, especially at Whole Foods. You just have to try them out and see what you find tastes good enough for you.

No reason to be nervous (although it is perfectly normal to be).

I use Jay Robb egg white protein powder in vanilla 24 gr protein, it is real good, made with Stevia so no artificial sweeteners...

To stay away from dairy (whey) I mix mine with So Delicious sugar free coconut milk (also made with Stevia)....

I make a chocolate peanut butter one using 1 tbs Hershey's cocoa and 2 Tbs PB2 which make it a 30 gram protein shake with only 225 calories 1 gram sugar.

I also put it in Oatmeal with apples and walnuts
I also make it with different fruits
Protein pancakes

I find that Vitamin Shoppe has the best prices..... I buy it when it is on sale....

Good luck.....
