After over 3 yrs, I finally slided into oneder land. First time in over 20 yrs I have been under 200lbs.

It has been a goal I have been trying to achieve for so long, I don't know how to act now. It is a new feeling for me to actually achieve this personal goal.

I have been post surgery for 3 1/2 years and that is my goal right now to be 199. I hope to reach it by my 4 year mark. Never ever give up. Determination and mind set are powerful tools to work with the band. I don't post often but, I do read posts just to let you know there are more people out there with over 3 years surgery that are not having any problems with thier bands and are still detemine to get to goal which can be achieved with the band as many members have proved.

I've had 20lb gains last year. Was in a bad place with ice cream. The good thing about the band is, you can always get back on the "band" wagon. The band is a tool that you make your personal choice to work with. It is not easy but it's better than trying to do it on your own. YOU WILL GET THERE!

What exactly did you eat in a day to get to where you are today.  I know getting back to basics is the key, but I want to know what did you do.  Thank you for your post and hopefully your reply.

I finally got a fill to the right spot and I couldn't even over eat the bad stuff. I took me close to 3 yrs to get there. My surgeon was almost 3 hours away so I didn't go as often as I should have. I try to stay away from sugary stuff because that is what puts the weight on me fast. I walk 1/2 hr 4 to 5 times a week. I try to drink no-calorie things when I feel hungry instead of eating. The hardest thing but what worked really well is I started measuring my portions. If it didn't fit in the cup, I didn't eat. Very hard, but nothing is easy. Hope I helped you some.

Also USE THE NUTRITION TRACKER for your food that is on this website. It is very helpful. I found I can not eat over 1200 calories if I want to lose unless I get in my 1/2 hr of exercise.

Congratulations on reaching onederland. I will be 2years out July 13th. I am hoping to reach onderland by then. I am 19 lbs away.
It is hard work, but I know I could not have kept it off without my band!
