Well after delivering my new daughter and trying to regain focus.  I am going on liquids for one week to get my rear back in gear.  I have a fill scheduled for next Thursday and I am ready to lose this baby weight.  I just hope I can do this liquid thing again.  It seemed much easier the first time around.  However, I am sure I dreaded it back then as well.  I just know this is what I need though to get back on track.  Wish me luck!

First of all congratulations on your new baby!  Secondly, is this your first child?  I lost tons of weight after my first without even trying, mostly thanks to breastfeeding.  If you're going to breastfeed you probably shouldn't go on a liquid diet.  Just sayin'  Check with your OB and surgeon.

It is my second child.  I have always heard the weight loss is not as significant with your second as your first.  For me, it was true.  I lost almost 40 pounds within a week of delivering my first.  With this one, who is almost 4 weeks old, I have only lost 17 pounds, while breastfeeding.  Due to not producing enough milk, I have switched to formula and decided to kick my weight loss in gear.  I just hope I can!

Best of luck! I'm in the same boat too! I am 10 weeks post op from my c section. I gained a total of 55 pounds. I had no restriction at all during my pregnancy and only had 1 cc removed. Keep us posted on your progress!!!!!

I am 4 weeks post-op and am having a hard time getting back in the weight loss mode.  I gained a little over 40 with this pregnancy.  I had to have all my fluid removed due to morning sickness.  We should try and keep each other motivated.  I wish you luck!

Yes! Definitely keep in touch! I've lost 39 so far. I just went back to band basics. Oh! I'm not breastfeeding either.
