Regarding the subject "dumping" and not ever enjoying sweets regularly again -- forever.....I am just curious........

Would you give up sweets FOREVER to stay in a size 4 for women and size 30/32 for men?

For me? NO! I must have my treats on occasion and  I like to feel normal, I was able to lose most of my weight WITH my lap band and I ate chocolates frequently -- I admit, but I exercised and walked.

Even if I was being "paid" for being thin like a model or actress, I probably still would not want to ever be able to eat sweets-- sorry I just luvs --chocolate and acutally dark chocolate is good for your heart and health and well being in moderation.

Also I can't fathom being not able to eat treats when I am a lot older when I can care less of what size I wear.....

NO WAY!!!

I guess that I truly am addicted to food, because there is no way in He** that I'd give up the occasional desert.

Lori you are too funny! You are like me HELL TO THE NO...., I must have something sweet EACH AND VERY WEEK.... I get high on sweets...lol I would be extremely grumpy if I did not have an occasional treat, ice cream, cookies, cake or candy bar...SORRY....

Especially when I retire and me and my hubby travel, and go to different states and go on cruises and casinos and different countries and that is what I am planning my RETIREMENT ON TRAVELING AND EATING TREATS...

I am a few years out and I don't really dump anymore.  I used to dump in the beginning.

I am currently a size 2/4, depending on item of clothing and store.  I got all the way down to 118 and a size 0.  I am currently 129 and trying to maintain.

I can eat sweets with no problem.  I actually have to watch what I eat, including my "sweets" intake.  It's nothing for me to gain 5 pounds overnight!

I am not really a chocolate girl, but I love, love, love me some chips, donuts and cakes. All in moderation of course!!!

Oh Nana...you don't have to believe me.  I say this to you with the deepest sincerity and with absolutely no malice, but to me, you are just a stranger on the Internet, along with all the other posters on OH.  I could absolutely careless what you, or any other Internet stranger believes regarding  anything (well...except for the good info on vitamins, labs, complications, and all the other good helpful stuff)!

But seriously, I don't post pictures on the Internet  PERIOD!  In my opinion, the risks far outweigh the benefits.  Hell, knowing my luck, I would try taking some ******y pictures of myself to post on OH, and with my luck, I would end up capturing my douche in the background of the photo, for all of OH to see and laugh at for months.  How humiliating!!  I would be absolutely mortified!  Those are just chances I can't take!

So yeah, I don't post pics, but if you like, I can find some pics of some random chick who appears to be 5'3 and 129 pounds and say its me.  How would you know it isn't?

No. Because if I wore a size 4 I'd look like someone from a concentration camp.

Nope.  I COULDN'T give up sweets!!!

My downfall has always been sweets.  I could give up bread....I could give up rice....but I could not give up sweets!!

Gotta have that treat every now and again

Yep you are like me, I don't care for bread, pasta, rice or potatoes.....those deadly whites!...But sorry there is one white I can't give up...sugar...but I try to limit choice of sweets for example, I really don't do donuts they are dangerous...or milkshakes or really fattening creams..but I gotta have my chocolate treats and sometimes I substitute real ice cream for soft frozen yogurts..but all in all -- I can't give up my treats at restaurants, I sometimes will share a treat with my husband so sort of share the guilt.
