A favor, if anyone sees these . . .?
I am dying to get one of these dolls, but haven't been able to find one at the toy stores around here. If anyone happens to stumble across one, would you grab it? I'll pay for the doll and the shipping to me . . .

I just checked the Toys R Us website and It shows this doll as a pre-order. Maybe the doll is not yet out and thats why your not finding it in the stores? Why not just order it online at Toys R Us?
Site says it is elegible to start shipping on 6/15

OMG that is a BETTE doll ... I will look for one up this way .. otherwise I am heading home to Panama for a long weekend ... I will email this to my friends see if anyone can grab me one and I'll bring it back with me ...
I remember years ago when Xavier Roberts first did the cabbage patch dolls. My DD was a wee toddler at the time (around Xmas) and wanted one but they were a hot item and all sold out in the U.S. Well this sista here hopped on a plane and went home to Panama where my dad was able to pick up a few of the dolls (originals with birth certificates) and I brought them back for my DD and friends... Well my DD still has those dolls but never played with them ... she was more enthused with loading dirt into a Tonka dump truck that one of her cousins had gotten .. go figure....
I love the doll... I will try my best to find you one ... that is definitely YOUR doll!

Yup ... dat's my girl ... and I sure went overboard too LOL ... I took a picture of her picture I carry in my wallet ... check her out... and she would have been happier with a tonka dump truck LOL ... sounds like me ... I grew up a tomboy climbing the mangoes and coconut trees and winning the boys at games of marbles ...in the dirt too LOL

Your daughter must be the same age as mine! I remember being as poor as a churchmouse & searching high & low for a Cabbage Patch doll for her for Christmas. I found one! I don't know how. I still have the photo of my daughter Wendy with a big smile on her face, looking at the Cabbage Patch doll under the Christmas tree (I want to say 1983).
