For low carbers...or those stalled

Holy Cow what great information! I would never have thought of it in that way, thanks.
I am thrilled for you; you truly are doing an awesome job. Congrats! I am so happy that you feel well enough to do the things you are and now have a new zest for life. Wonderful news.
I have lost 5 pounds in the last 3 weeks after maintaining but not losing I will look at the food I have been relying on and maybe I can lose some more. The fat rolls around my middle haven't move, though. Well they do move, they jiggle, but I wish I could firm up like I had at first. Physical problems aren't allowing me the freedom to do much of the walking and biking I did and now I have added a bone spur in my right shoulder that makes resistance bands painful. Oh well. At least I feel better about myself and know that while I might look bigger I'm not.

The only carbs I have are those in my low sugar condiments, green veggies, tomatoes...good carbs from veggies and a small amount of fruits. It's been working for me. The ONLY thing that has worked for me. Give it a try, really work it for a week and I bet you'll see you're a lot less hungry after the week and you'll lose weight for sure.
but you will crave that first week. It's detoxing and you will be crabby. Keep a lot of meat that you can eat in the fridge. For some reason roast beef lunch meat works for me most of the time. I kept that on hand when I was detoxing. It made a huge difference. And good protein shakes for the sweet cravings :)
Good luck. YOU CAN DO IT!

OH how I can relate to the jiggles :)
Miss you!!! I Hope you're feeling better. I get days where I'm still just too sick to do something. Those are the days I, well, don't do anything LOL. That's why cutting the hidden carbs (and obvious carbs) has really helped me. I can't work out like a crazy lady like some people can do...so I have to depend on cutting out more carbs than most people. I had a lifetime of ice cream. I can handle not having it now. ;)

That's exactly how I lost all of my weight. No simple carbs, only their complex counterparts on the rare occasion, like oatmeal, Wasa crackers, etc.
I let sugar back into my life after the first year and stopped losing. I've gained 18 lbs since that time over the past 2 years and I'll tell you, getting rid of the sugar is, well, you know, a B*%&ch!
I can do it, though! Never give up!

I've been doing unsweetened almond for a long time. I LOVE IT! Soooo much better for us than hormoned/sugary milk. You know I am really one that compares prices, and regular milk is cheaper. So since changing my eating habits I have had to adjust to buying better food as opposed to cheaper food. It is more expensive to eat healthy.
