oops why didn't the symbol show. It is a v with the point facing to the left of the page with an equal sign to the right of that one and 89% to the right of the equal sign. It is from my pulse ox overnight test to determine if I lose oxygen in my sleep (for test ot determine if sleep study for apnea is needed),
I am not a nurse or doctor, nor do I play one on TV ..
I think if it's < or > symbol, it's like in school more/greater than or less than
> = 89% ... would mean greater/more than 89% < = 89% .. would be less than 89% www.mathsisfun.com/equal-less-greater.html
Good Luck on your Journey !!

How accurate did they say your home test was? I am afraid I am borderline and when it is time to take the Sleep Study ( I have only slept with the pulse oxemitor on) that if I choose a home version it will not be as accurate. What did they say about yours?
BTW I need to show sleep apnea for approval needs, I sleep on the couch to force myself to stay on my side so I don't very often wake up with a headache or rarely a dry mouth. I nap every day for the most part but I think that is probably boredom as I don't work anymore. My family does say I snore but no where near the loud buzz saw I was. I slept in a bed for my Pulse Ox test at home. But still did not wake up with symptoms

I initially took the test in office overnite all wired up! I had no idea that I was waking up 80 tImes an hour! I did over time realize that I was nodding off in long meetings at work and couldn't drive a car for more then a couple hours without getting extremely tired. Now that I am on the Cpap machine, I sleep 6-7 hours really well and am not tired ever! Although I hate the machine I feel better. I have lost 80 lbs and would like to do the home test to see if it is better, but am nervous to! Some nights I only wear it half the night. It is a doubled edged sword!
