Promotional Video
I just got home from doing a promotional video for the LapBand for my doctor's office.
It was really fun! Lots of cameras and lights. I find that I still cry when asked, what my life was like when I weighed 488lbs. I remember those aches and pains daily. It's the emotional pain that hurts the most. I wonder if I will always tear up when I recall those days. But I am so glad that I am on this side of the memory!
I do love my LapBand. It has brought me so far - and has given me hope of having a long and healthy life!

Having struggled all my life with weight and having the lap band now I know just how hard you have worked to lose all of this weight...even with the band it's really not much help. YOU ROCK, SISTAH!!! I'm so dang proud of you and you are such an inspiration to me. YOU were the reason I decided to recommit in spite of being sick and still on prednisone. I'm losing very slowly (but losing!!!) even though my band is of little help (I have to keep it very loose due to severe inflamation).
