Eating after a fill.

I totally agree with Caramel I would reschedule, I have had fills that were to tight for soup (thick) cheese, chowder, etc for a couple of days and I have had fill that didn't kick in for weeks. I wiould not take a chance. For me Iam real sensitive to fills and never know when my band will tighten up. If you have a fill,  I would stick to broth

 I'm with Caramel. My doc's instructions are full liquids for 2 days after a fill. If you want to eat anything solid, I'd have the fill after the celebration.

Me too. Two days of liquids and two days of soft foods. If you don't see what you can eat before you get there, you may want to reschedule if eating is that important for the event. Otherwise, enjoy some mushie food. I have had restaurants puree meat for me before.

Thank you everyone for your replies.  My doc's office recommended having the fill after the dinner.  I rescheduled it for Friday.  Thanks so much.  Michelle.
