Update: Losing my band...

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well! I just wanted to give you all an update on me, I posted a couple months back about possibly losing my band.
I will be having my band removed and revising to the sleeve on June 20th. I'm excited to be starting this new journey, but am also sad to be losing my band.
Thank you all for your support and kind words over the years I had my band!!

Hi Ashley...I am sure you must be excited and relieved. I wish you success with your new sleeve!

5.0 cc in a 10cc lapband (four fills) 1 unfill of .5cc on 5/24/2011.
.5 fill March 2012. unfill of .25cc May 2012. Unfill of .5cc June 2014.

Still with my lapband with no plans for revision. Band working well since

last small unfill.

HW: 267lbs- size 22-24 LW:194lbs CW:198lbs Size 14-16

I did it! I had my band removed years ago and revised to the sleeve. I swear, you will love it! No getting stuck, no food issues, none of it. I know the fear that comes with this but a few days post op and you'll wonder what the big deal was! ;o)

You will love it. It's so nice to be able to eat anything, and not have to worry about where the nearest bathroom is when eating out! ha ha

When I had my band I sat on the outside seat at the movies and at church... I always felt like ya never knew when you'd have to puke... Even with liquids.
