Lap Band

Okay! Here are my before and during! I am not done yet! Still working on getting to my goal! I am 4 1/2 years post banding and I have never had an unfill or a complication!

The LapBand was the best gift I ever gave myself!

12/09 and 6/11, 9 skin removal procedures with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico
Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.

so pretty and skinny....congrats to you on all your success! It's a shame many bandsters don't get to show their stuff for all the negativity....keep up the good work and much success to you!

Lap Band

I have to be honest, sometimes I am embarrassed by my success. I feel so sad for those who worked hard with their bands and their bands failed them, I thought at one time of removing my ticker because I don't want others to feel bad. But I have to remember that not all bands fail and without mine, I would most likely be dead. I was just pounds away from weighing 500lbs. I am 5-10, so I could carry that much weight and still work full-time. I did everything I had to do to make a living and be a good Mom. Now at this new lower weight, I can work 7 nights in a row - 7 - 12 hour shifts! And still get on a plane and fly to see my BF in LA. I feel like a totally different person! My life has been renewed and I thank my wonderful and very supportive surgeon and my LapBand.,
