For my SURGERY? Yes. That was a necessity for my SURGERY. But I'm not one of those people who run around all sanctimoniously with the "Oh, I'd NEVER get a BAND! I don't want a foreign object in MY body" and then turn around and shove themselves full of Juvederm, Botox, implants and who knows what else.
Bette- It is the same difference. They inject a toxin for their reasons, you inject rat poison for your reasons. Six of one, half dozen of another. I'll bet I could come up with many examples. Ever eat McDonald? More toxins. Ever eat sugar? More toxins. Drive a car fueled with gasoline? More toxins. Do you eat prepared food such as Kraft Mac & Cheese? Preservatives are toxins.
I agree with you about the device issue, but your analogy was very wrong.
What's the general consensus on anal beads? Anal suppositories? Butt plugs? 14" *****s? They're all foreign objects and I am fed up with people who use these items and DON'T GET A BAND, TOO! If you're gonna do something, go all the way!! None of this half assed stuff, dammit.
