WTF??!!! "Foreign objects" and Botox

Okay, I have to say it. I am fed the **** up with people *****ject the band because they "don't want a foreign object" in their body, but then post that they get BOTOX!



Ah. I feel so much better!

 They are both made by the same company :)

 Botox wears off in about 4 or 5 months

 4 months or 4 years. It's injecting a known TOXIN, voluntarily, into your face. 

I happily use both and love results from both! I am all for injectables!!!

 I work for a dermatologist. Botox last 4 to 6 months paralyzingly the muscles that have been injected. Once the effects of Botox wears off it is gone. It's months not years. 

 Uh, yeah. I know that. But PERSONALLY, I don't want a known toxin injected into my face.

But that's just me.

 At least it wears off if you don't like it without causing life threatening consequences and surgeries. I'm all for that!

You were very likely given a blood thinner pre op for your bands, correct?  That would be rat poison.  

Mice and rats can't vomit, it is physically impossible for them to do so.  Rat poison works by making them bleed to death.  It's a blood thinner.  Then it was discovered it could work in humans by making us not clot.

The difference would be?

 For my SURGERY? Yes. That was a necessity for my SURGERY.

But I'm not one of those people who run around all sanctimoniously with the "Oh, I'd NEVER get a BAND! I don't want a foreign object in MY body" and then turn around and shove themselves full of Juvederm, Botox, implants and who knows what else.
