Oh, Nic, I didn't miss it. It's just that none of us can ever know what can happen, with anything. And that DOES suck - hugely, for a lot of people - but we really can't go through life waiting and expecting the worst to happen. I'm pretty sure you mentioned that you can't but if you were able to, would you have another WLS?

No, you guys definitely missed my point completely. We wouldn't be having this conversation if my point had come across.

Maybe you could point out to Dev* that since she has me blocked, I couldn't care less what she has to say about anything I have to say. In fact, I believe I'm going to start a weekly "story-telling" thread about the people who have me blocked.

I do believe it will involve stories of third nipples and sordid tales of corruption and butt pimples.

I have to ask.....How do you know  Dev* replied to your post if she has you blocked?  Or how can she respond to your post if she has you blocked?  What does blocking do?

I assume if I  block someone, I cannot see anything they post and vice versa.

I'm learning that if one signs out, they can come back on and view posts as guests....but how can they respond once they log back on?

This is confusing!

Give it up, turn it loose!!!

Happy that you are doing well with your band - concentrate on holding onto that good!

Blessings,

My story is out there, so I am not going to bother with it again.

BUT I will answer these questions -

How long between diagnosis and new operation? My band came out in June of 11, b/c of scar tissue and swelling I had to wait two months to get my revision, and I was revised to the VSG on Aug 1, 2011.

Which operation did you choose, and why? The VSG b/c I was comfortable with the stats, and I knew that I could do well with restriction only.

Did you use the same Doctor? No, I had a whole new team for my revision.

How long between new operation and “recoveryÂ" from band issue? I still have "band" issues. Slow esophagus and spasms that feel like chest pain, these continued after my band was removed and while they have gotten slightly better since my revision they still creep up on me.

The VSG
has been amazing for me, it's everything I thought the band would be and wasn't. I lost pretty good with the band, but have lost better with the VSG (lost the same amount with the VSG in 8 months that it took me 3 years to achieve with the band). My pictures do the talking for me now.

Finishing my first race, ran the whole thing, something I
could have not even dreamed about this time last year -
