new to this sight but after reviewing some of the lap bands posts, i was/am sad to see so many negative posts.
i am choosing the band because i dont want to cut my insides but realize the pros and cons.
if you are interested in a lap band buddy, please let me here from you please.
i am on my liquids diet and day 2, its hard.
thank you if you read this,

12/09 and 6/11, 9 skin removal procedures with Dr. Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico
Revised to the Sleeve after losing 271 lbs with the LapBand.
Why is it that there are so many "negative" posts, I wonder? Because so many of us had "negative" banding experiences, maybe?
I chose the band for the same reasons as you. Unfortunately, I found out that having "insides cut" isn't the worst thing in the world. Having a band damage a stomach is infinitely worse. At least a surgeon cuts in the correct area. Bands are indiscriminate as to where they cause damage.
Good luck to you. I hope you're the exception. I'm sure that someone will be happy to be your banding buddy. And I really do wish you the best.
PS. Another site to check out is lapbandtalk. They are mostly a "pro-band" bunch. They're not the most knowledgable, however. But you'll run into fewer "negative" posts, probably.
