When is it time to consider revision?
sounds like a doctor problem to me . My doc takes the time to talk to me and never ever rushes me when I visit him. You really need a good doctor that will listen to you . Not go in one ear and out the other .
If you dont get results from your doctor you want then find another doctor before you cut yourself open again on another surgery . Maybe another doctor will listen to your problems and needs and find out the problem is.

Right on, Steelerfan. My doctor never rushes me either and every single one of my fills has been under flouro.
To the OP: I know it's hard to change doctors, but if you can't get him to listen to you, perhaps there is another doctor in the same practice that might be more helpful to you. This doc certainly is not.

I had the band 7.5 years and it was hell. I just revised to RNY 4 weeks ago. I feel great. The band is so whack. Fills, refills, unfills, sweet spots, vommitting, and ACID REFLUX!!! I decided when my acid reflux was out of control, and my weight started climbing at a rapid rate, after 5 years of maintaining. Talk to your dr. Mine was extremely supportive. You'll know when it's time.
