First Shopping Experience!

I tried to go to Goodwill and a couple consignment shops, but had not luck.

Yesterday I went to Ross and actuall found a lot of stuff. Of course, I didn't want to buy too much, but needed some clothes to wear to work and bumb around in.

It was nice to buy a 1X instead of 3X! And, the prices were cheaper than the consignment shop!

As long as they last me a couple months I will be happy. I hope to be out shopping again the end of the summer!

I know the feeling!! It is tough to buy clothes your not planning on wearing long!
I head to the discounted racks. lol
I just bought a pair of shorts since none of the ones I had would fit.
I bough a size 18 compared to size 24 that I wore last summer.

How Wonderful!!! We used to have a clothing exchange on here, people would send you their too big clothes and all you had to do was pay shipping. It was great! My WLS also, had a clothing exchange, not sure if they do it anymore. New clothes are always nice and smaller sizes even better. Keep up the good work.

I agree that you should not spend much during this phase ----- your size will change every few weeks

Kohl's is a good place for me to find things on clearance, also -- you might give them a try.

I did find some online with them.

I just emptied out my closet tonite after sending three garbage bags full to Goodwill yesterday. I definitely have always been a shopaholic so I am trying to refrain! I have a huge vacation planned for Sept so I am trying to hold back!
