Why wasn't I losing? Because I ate too many carbs!

I was a huge salad eater before WLS ( that was because every bloody Monday I started a "new diet" Now after getting in my protein I just never have room left for salad. Just 1/2 cup of cucumber slices and I am done with my meal.
This is what I do now to get greens into my diet.
1 cup of unsweetened Almond Milk
1 cup water
1 scoop of protein powder
1 handful of fresh spinach ****ep my bag of spinach in the freezer - last a long time)
1 tsp decaf instant coffee granules
Ice
Blast in the blender. Honestly you cannot taste the spinach at all. The color of the protein shake is not that great, but the benefits out way the color.

when you're mentally ready you will do it. It took me a year to buckle down. I tried my way around it all....weigh****chers, lower carbs but not loooowww carb, and every "diet" trick out there. It didn't work. So just one day I cut the carbs and I'm back on track. It's a daily struggle, but after the detox it wasn't too bad. Keep at it!!!
I honestly can't do any carbs. If I do chili I have very little beans in it. Although those are good carbs my body still thinks they suck lol. What finally got me to lose was going HIGH protein (like 100g a day) and very few carbs (only good) maybe 40g a day or lower and none of them from processed food. Condiments are low carb as well. I'm a ketchup girl. I tried Heinz low carb ketchup and it tastes fine to me.
My salad dressing is walden farms french (no carbs or fat). I actually like it! BBQ sauce, can't recall the name, is no carb, too. I get my stuff at netrition.com

Me too, I'm a carb addict and carb's affect my system, once I have them, I have to have more. If I eat too many I get the shakes. I can eat good carbs. But forget the others. It's like I'm addicted give me a little and I have to have more and more and more.
