Best tasting egg substitute?

Can anyone tell me if there is a good tasting egg substitute out there and is it really better for you other than the cholesterol content?

 IMHO? THere is no substitute. I'd rather take my chances with real eggs.

I agree with Bette . Usually when you get into substitutes there is more junk in it then the real thing. Just like so called low fat or diet food .

Yep, I agree as well. I gave up on egg substitute a long time ago. I have very good cholesterol numbers, I don't worry about it. I eat eggs fairly frequently (a couple times a week at least).

I buy a carton of egg whites - no substitute. You can get them w/ yellow coloring if you want. I eat real eggs too.

Thanks for all of your comments! I thought the same, but wanted to check. I have been eating egg white omlets lately and they are not bad at all so I may try the carton of egg whites. I have a friend who raises chickens so I get all of the cage free eggs I want (green, pink and brown)!

I too eat eggs a couple times a week so I don't feel like it is too much.

 I eat eggs every.single.day and refuse to use substitues, as long as the rest of your diet is rounded and healthy you don't have too much to worry about cholestorl wise with eggs! 

Oh and when I use just the whites, I cook the yolks for my puppy, her coat has never looked better! LOL

I use Great Value from Walmart.  Just put a tiny bit of cheese in them and they taste fine!
