What Are You Eating Today ?

Today is my bowling banquet so going out to dinner.   I'm so tired of chicken I will NOT be getting chicken tonight lol.  

Breakfast   one egg , 1/4 cup of turkey sausage crumbled

snack   apple

Lunch   not sure yet . Would love to have my turkey sub sandwich but going out tonight I know the food is going to be high in sodium so no turkey sub lol

Dinner   6 oz sirloin steak,  grilled veggie skewer , salad . I'm really wanting some fried shrimp I might get that as a treat l.

Snack no snack since dinner will be late

Breakfast: Kashi high protein cereal with equal & 3/4 cup skim milk (this is my every day breakfast)

Snack: Kashi dark chocolate oatmeal cookie & 1/2 tbsp peanutbutter (it helps my tummy sometimes)

Lunch: smart ones breakfast wraps & yoplait delights lemon torte (loooove that stuff)

Snack: yoplait greek strawberry yogurt

Dinner: lasagna

Exercise: none today (got a big blister from my new sneakers :(. I have been walking 1 1/2 to 2 miles 3 or 4 times a week)

I need to get new sneakers also we are going on vacation in July and will be doing lots of walking .

I have been walking a mile every other day and I need to bump it up .  How long does it take you to do your walks ?

My knee has been mending from pulling a muscle so I haven't bumped it up yet but I need to .

When I was being religious about my walking I lost so mu*****hes in my hips and thigh area. I lost more just walking then doing a high cardio class

Need to post today.. not doing good so far!

E- protein shake
B- 1c nonfat yogurt with 1/4c granola
L- little salad with dressing, 4slices of pkg deli chicken with laughing cow cheese wedge,couple halves roasted potato and kashi granola bar: Honey Almond Flax (yummy)
s- darn found another kashi bar in my lunch bag- yes ate it!
d- pork chop with 1/2 sweet potato after my support group meeting so I will eat late tonight.
S- maybe not.. depends how late I eat dinner.

no exercise today. :(

water, Decaf tea,decaf coffee. I need to drink more water than what I have been.
Will drink 23oz at support group tonight before I get home.

It takes me about 40-45 minutes to do 2 miles. Our school has a rubberized all weather track. It's so much easier on the joints than walking on a sidewalk or regular hard surface. I'm having trouble finding the right fit in shoes. I've gone down half a size and no longer wear wide widths but I just need to find a good pair that fits perfectly so I stop getting these nasty bisters. I've taken up tanning also. At first it wasn't so pale. But I've found that it feels really good on my bones, muscles, etc.

I have a hard time with shoes too. I have really liked Sketchers.

B: 2 small pieces of celery with whipped peanut butter and prune pieces
L: 1/4 c chicken salad and 6 Special K wheat crackers and sf peaches
D: scrambled egg substitute, 1/2 link sausage, 1/3 harvest wheat & nut pancake few blueberries inside
S: 4 almonds

Water vitamins
Water aerobics

that is really good :o) It takes me about 30 min to do a mile I have had knee problems the last month and its been sore to walk so I have been taking it a slower place plus I walk with my puppies and they have to stop and sniff everything lol

Sue I was thinking of getting those sketchers they say it really helps to build up muscles .  I need to get me a good pair and start using them before we go on vacation .

I dont wear wides either :o)  I went from a 9 wide down to a 8 1/2 reg it was so weird at first buying smaller shoes lol.

Keep up the great work my knee is doing alot better so I need to up the pace and up the walking .

D thinking a grilled cheese on oat nut bread with Tabasco sounds good
