How Often Do You: Weigh yourself, Count Calories & Monitor Fluid In-take?
The best suggestion I can give you is do what works for YOU. Sometimes it's trial and error, but judging from your rapid weight loss..................YOU'RE NOT HAVING MUCH ERROR! ;-)
Now I initially weighed just once a wk. I did that for the first 1-1 1/2 years. The last yr. or so I do it everyday or 2since it's more of a maintanance thing now.
I don't count calories, carbs or fluids. If I'm not sure about the calorie/carb content of an item I will check it , but that's about it. I try to do lower cal, carb, and fat.
Oh and fluids.......I do struggle to get enough in. :-(
Now some ppl are very regimented and weigh food and do food journaling. I couldn't go to that extreme, but it works for them.

I weigh in at home every day
I weigh in at Weigh****chers (and record my weight) once a month now
Daily weighing keeps me accountable ---- I have a range between 150 - 155 that is acceptable.
When I see more than that, I take action ---- and journal my food/water/vitamins for a few days until I am back into my range.
I don't journal every day --- otherwise, but I do work to get at least 64 ounces of fluid by having 16 - 24 ounces before each meal.

I log everything on MyFitnessPal. Really keeps me motivated. I also check my blood pressure as I am hoping to get off that. Paying close attention now as it gets low and will be lowing my dosage soon so hopefully next time I can go off it!
I weigh myself the same time (am) everyday. I now know the pattern and fluctuations so it doesn't bother now.

Here is what I do.
If I see any loss, I am thrilled
If I am up 1 pound, I think "perfectly normal"
If I am up 2 pounds in a single day, I think over what I ate the day before but don't freak ... But make an attempt to have more calorie-free liquids to flush excess sodium.
155 is my goal and I base all weigh ins on that number.
The lowest I have been is 149, but that number has been hard to get back to.

Weigh myself -- Daily ... ugh its a bad habit I know
Calorie counting -- never; try to choose good foods and small portions
Fluid intake -- don't track, but I know when I haven't had enough
This really made me look at myself! Thanks for posting!
