Mothers Day weight loss challenge, week 2 results

How was every ones 2nd week? I did great, -5 lbs. I've come to realize I have a bad attitude about exercise and need to change my thinking, so for me "NO EXCUSES" is my new Mantra. Also, read something someone said about eating, veggies have 0 points if you do WW. I don't do WW but she said when she needs/wants to stress eat, she doesn't just not eat, she eats veggies, maybe I'll try this??? One last thing I read, a quote from someone that said "The chief course of failure and unhappiness is trading what you want MOST, for what you want NOW"
What are you going to do different this week? For me keep thinking, No excuses!!
I'll post the results, tomorrow!

wow congrats to you Mari!! I like your new way of thinking I am going to try that route also after this weekend I need it lol.

I did not get on the scales  today. Not because of my bad weekend , but I started my period and I will gain anywhere from 5 to 10 pounds during this time and it will stay on me till the day my period ends *sigh*. No sense getting myself all upset over something I cant control .

So I will have results next week for either a loss or a gain .

I did WW and ate all the free veggies..but I still over ate them! lol

I lost 1.4 pounds this week.

Maybe that fill last week will help me lose now!

Great way of thinking Mari!

I had a great week too. Put me down for a 5 pound loss.

I found this week I have my own personal trainer in the gym! When I am not in the pool, my husband has agreed to work with me in the gym. He lifts weights and/or works out in the gym 5 days a week so now he will also be there a couple extra times to help me. No pool yesterday so we did upper body.

 down 1 pound this week. Had a bad w/e. birthday celebration on Sunday and tomorrow.

  Heaviest wt. 235- surgery wt-203

hey, Mari --- I am out of town, so no weigh-in for me.

I helped some friends move this weekend, so lots of activity on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I appreciate you tracking this for us!!  Congrats on the new attitude!

Congrats Mari you have done fantastic, I am having trouble getting back on track hopefully next week I will see better results. -0 this week

I'll be weighing in tomorrow. Mondays aren't the best WI day for me I realized. Good job for all those that are down!
