I think the block feature is great if someone annoys you enough that you can't stand to read their posts, but to then talk about them is tacky.

I still see the posters that to me, are the most annoying still here and posting, but I just don't care enough to block them, nor do I care enough to engage or talk about them.  Too many important things to do, like check the eagles nest cams.

Some times dingle berries are the lowest hanging fruit.

My guess is that low self confidence requires them to get constant confirmation that they did the right thing in blocking you, and also to encourage others to block you so they can form a group of AntiMaria folks who will spend all their time patting themselves on the back and saying they were right about you all along.

Actually I was told recently by another bandster that the soon to be ex bandsters that blocked me calls me "Echo". I'm guessing b/c she didn't like hearing my band warnings over and over. I do however say it over and over not to be annoying, but so those that are currently researching the band will see it in case they are not reading previous posts.

Anyway............I'll take Echo. It's better than some of the things I've been called by bandsters. :-)

Bexie stop by one of the failed band groups sometime. If you'd prefer not to do the Facebook group, there's also the one on OH, and there is another one as well.

Seems a waste of time to me.  But, then again, I'm fairly direct.

If I have someone blocked, I don't mention their name or join in any discussions regarding them.  I don't currently have anyone blocked, although I believe I am blocked by at least one person.

If I have something to say about a person, I'd rather say it to them and, if possible, get some resolution.  Even if that resolution is that we shouldn't engage with each other again.

I've only blocked people who, I think, went way way over the line in personal attacks or just suffer from keyboardarrhea (meaning I can't deal with reading their 50 nonsense posts a day.)

And I have been blocked by people I have had NO direct contact/interaction with at all.

Banded 10 years & maintaining my weight loss!! Any questions, message me.

Yeah, I blocked someone for the keyboardarrhea for awhile.  And I've blocked over personal attacks, as well a**** the report button over them.

And I've been blocked by people with whom I've never had interactional at all.   Their loss.  I've never blocked anyone under that set of cir****tances.

All in a day's work.
