Why are you considering a revision? Are you having complications? You admitted to not following the rules and not exercising. Have you tried going back to basics? You have maintained a 60 pound loss. Imagine what you can do if you recommit and become the best WLS patient.

I encourage you to try creating bandster friendly habits before considering a revision. That is the beauty of the band. You can go in and start over with a new fill and proper restriction.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Yes. You can start over. I have read pp's posts on OH that start over and over and after 4 years what do they have to show for it? STILL trying to lose the weight! You don't seem to understand that it doesn't matter how many fills she has...............THAT DOESN'T MEAN SHE WILL EVER GET RESTRICTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for your responses and support!  I'm still really unsure about revision.  I've already put my body through obesity and 1 invasive procedure (actually 2).  And I'm honest enough with myself now to say (out loud) that I relied on my band to do the work in the past.  I know I just need to put some real effort into my weight loss and I'll achieve my goals.  For now I'm going to get a fill (once I have the $$) and get back to the gym!!  Good luck to everyone!
