Looking for a good protein powder to make shakes with. Do you have any suggestions on what to try?
Also, any good smoothy recipes in mind?

I am having a hard time of what to have in the morning.

I use Bariatrics Advantage and/or Body Fortress Super Advantage Whey Protein. Mix with frozen fruit or whatever you want. Sometimes I just mix chocolate, strawberry and vanilla together and mix with ice. Experiment!

I use the cans of Pure Protein (choc or vanilla). With the vanilla I'll add 1/2 to 1 bananna and bit of ice and throw it in the blender or magic bullet. You can vary the fruit.

I loooove IsoPure powders... esp the Orange/Pineapple/Banana. VERY tasty, good protein level, and considered ideal for bariatric patients because it's low carb. It's frequently on sale at GNC.

If you're a coffee drinker, I know a lot of people like Click Espresso protein powders. Personally, I find them too much of a pain in the rear to mix properly (if you short-cut, it never de-clumps).

I've heard great things about the naturade soy protein, vanilla flavored.  I saw it at BJ's (like a costco, Sams club, etc..) for 19.99 for a huge bag.  I'm going to buy it and try it out, based on the reviews and some friends that use it.  But as usual with protein drinks they all have that odd taste to them.
