Revision on 08/16/12
Lest anyone think that I'm hiding the new path of my journey on the bandwagon, I'd like to share my relief by announcing that today I received a date (May 3) for my revision surgery. My beloved band will be removed (because of esophageal motility issues) and I'll be revised to the sleeve. I love my band and hate to see it go, but I'm trying to make the best of these unexpected cir****tances, and I will always be a bandster at heart.

Like Ann I'm totally jealous! Isn't that ironic, I'd kill for a sleeve and am stuck with my band where you would love to keep your band? Life is just funny that way sometimes! You will do fine with your sleeve and I hope all the folks *****vise to other surgeries will always feel welcome here. After all you all started out here with us and I for one will always welcome old time bandsters. Keep us up on how your new journey goes!!
