arrgggg.. frustrated!

 Today is the beginning of my 3rd week. I've been eating mushy food for 2 days. I've only eaten ff vegitarian refried beans and eggs. I woke up today 3 pounds heavier!!! WTH is going on?? Has anyone else experianced something like this? I also haven't had a BM for at least 4 days, but I can't imagine I have 3 pounds of it backed up in there lol.

As odd as it sounds, you probably are backed up and once you go, so will the 3 pounds!

Also i will tell you what people told me (and they were right), your healing right now. Things are swollen and trying to get back into working order. You  shouldn't worry about weight loss or gain right now. Just worry about healing. After the healing process, you can be more proactive with nutrition and exercise. Drinking a lot of fluids will help with going to the bathroom and making you feel better all around!

Weight can easily vary 3 pounds over the course of the day. Probably the case. However many bandsters do gain a few when they start on mushies. Good luck!

I had the same issue! And, now that you are eating foods, you will need to worry about fiber. I started using a disolving powder so that I don't get backed up. One bad back up will remind you to worry about it always. I found that 4 days is too long, but 2-3 is ok. Pay attention to your body too so that you don't have a real problem with it.

Start varying your mushies so that your body gets other nutrients too. Blend any soup you like or eat creamed soups, chop up chicken, ham, turkey and mix it with a little Lite Miracle Whip or broth. Don't limit your food types! Have some fun and try some other flavors so that you don't get bored.

Mostof the mushy foods are carbs...not supposed to take in no mor than 30 carbsa day. look at your labels. yourts are loaded so are mash potatoes beans. it spikes your blood sugar causing your weight to jump up. try eating more proteins or drinking it and you will see a loss again...good luck..
